Celebrating International Women's Day

International Women's Day is celebrated on the 8 of March.

It is a celebration of the economic, cultural, political and social achievements of women throughout history. It also brings focus to issues women still face, such as gender inequality, violence, and abuse against women.

Ghana Women Forum celebrates the occasion every year.

The forum celebrated International Women's day with the Gender Minister, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Larte, and the German ambassador to Ghana, Mr Daniel Krull, in the German embassy.
